HOWDY

Ever since a young age, I felt compelled

to create. Taking things from the real

world vs. the things I saw in my mind,

nothing was off limits. I find art is more

than expression; it's release. It's not an

escape to anywhere but in and then out

of your mind.

I find inspiration in the people around me,

as well as the world around me.

Something moves you when you see the

world with eyes looking for more than

what appears. Art is surrender. Art is

ownership. Art is leaning in and seeing

where it takes you.

​

I've adapted my style into a simple,

stripped-down version of fun, light-

hearted characters, indicating how

I view and stylize the world.

Watercolors became a quick

love, as well as out of necessity

and convenience; they were most

readily available at the hospitals

I stayed at growing up. Mental

health remains something I struggle

with, but we're in it together, folks.
